A new feature I have chosen to implement here due to significant demand is the option you the reader have to affect TISYUTUS. How could you do that, you ask? Simple. Ask me to review a specific title! That's right! Just like those dueling piano guys, I'll take requests. I do, however, have some guidelines and instructions...
Firstly, you may or may not notice a pattern around here. Basically I try to review flicks that are either A.) Obscure, or at least in my mind needing of further exposure; B.)Films that I particularly enjoy quite a bit; or C.)Six of one, Half dozen of the other. What that all means is that I'll be picky as to agreeing to a specific title to review. You're not going to see me talking about Pretty Woman, and you probably won't even catch, say, Star Wars talked about here (unless it's the Turkish one, for example). Secondly, I'm not going to go out of my way to find the title in question. I mean, if I can easily rent it, of see it in a nearby bargain bin, then sure, I'll shell out a little bit of cash for it. But if I have to special order it from Russia or something, well bad news for you. However, if you want to send me a copy (VHS or DVD, I'll even take dubs and burns with no qualms) I'd be happy to review it for you. Thirdly, have you made your own little movie? Would you like TISYUTIS to publicize its existance through an unbiased review, followed by a link to where readers can find a copy of the film for purchase themselves? Then don't be afraid to ask me to give it a go. That's free publicity at the cost of shipping only! So, if you think you want to request a film for my reviewing (dis/)pleasure, then send an email to reviewrequestNO@SPAMchoconado.com, remembering to remove the "NO" and the "SPAM" of course, and make the subject header "Reader Request Review", and then give me the lowdown in the email about the film you want me to take a look at.
